OF NOTEÂ
With the Maine Township 207 schools choosing to discontinue posting to Twitter/X, I will need more submissions via email or Instagram to get more Maine South/East/West content in the newsletter. Please email me at kalebcarter4256@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram at Kc_capture__.
A quick thank you to Vernon Hills athletics for your timely emails from coaches detailing results, scores and stats. Thank you to Evanston and New Trier for your very consistent social media presence that allows me to document many of your athletes’ achievements in the newsletter.
Will definitely be looking for more flag football statistics. I saw some scores this past week, but looking for stats like touchdowns, interceptions and number of flag pulls. Please send more swimming, volleyball and tennis results!
TEAM OF THE WEEK
The Evanston boys golf team won competitions at home (Evanston Quad) and a tournament at Larkin to start the season on a hot run. Lester Low, Harrison Stracks and Luciano Giangrossi have been top scorers at events so far for the Wildkits.Â
