11-20 - Nick Taylor, Glenbrook South boys basketball, scored 26 in a win over Palatine
11-21 - Tre Himes, Maine East boys basketball, 27 points and 8 made 3’s in a 63-60 loss to Northside College Prep
11-22 - Yaris Irby, Niles North boys basketball, 28 points in a win over Lane Tech

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Glenbrook North defeated Taft 61-41 to win Maine East’s Thanksgiving tourney.Â
Maine East’s Arabella Silva had 22 points, 13 rebounds in a 50-37 win over Lakers. Per MaxPreps, the freshman is averaging 17.8 ppg, 11.3 rpg and 3.0 spg.

BOYS BASKETBALL
 Highland Park’s Simon Moschin scored a game-winning bucket with 4 seconds left in a 42-40 win over Ridgewood.
Maine South’s Tyler Sierra scored 20 in a win over Lyons Township.Â

GIRLS WRESTLING
New Trier was 4th as a team at Niles West’s tourney this past weekend.
The Trevians’ Zoe Lee won the 115-pound weight class at the event and her teammate Jillian Giller was 2nd at 140. Lee won a 9-8 decision in the final after winning her first 3 matches by fall. Nina Acevas took 3rd at 155 and Sundus Aitzemkour was 3rd at 100.Â
Glenbrook North’s Ariella Dobin won the 120-pound class with a fall in 45 seconds during the championship match. She won her 5 matches by fall.Â
Niles West’s Zoe Pomeranets led the Wolves by taking 3rd at 115.Â
Evanston’s Jerini Marshall brought the Wildkits 2nd place at 235.Â
Lillian Garrett was Maine West’s top finisher in third place at 170.Â
BOYS WRESTLINGÂ
Glenbrook North won a 16-team tourney at Vernon Hills after defeating Highland Park and St. Patrick in its opening week.Â
GRAD CATCHUPSÂ
Glenbrook South Class of 2023 graduate Gaven Marr scored 23 points, including a 6 of 6 mark from beyond the 3-point arc in a 68-53 Haverford win over Washington College.
