OF NOTEÂ
Sad news from Maine East as 2023 graduate Wolfgang Gustaveson, a first baseman last spring, died in a car accident.
WSIL’s Mike Muhondro quoted former teachers, friends and acquaintances in his story after Gustaveson’s passing. Here is Muhondro’s story.
"He was so enthusiastic about everything he did,"Â Gustaveson former girlfriend Liv Owens said. "So smart - loved mechanics, loved automotives - loved cars - fixing them - anything he could fix, he would fix."
"People are going to remember him for how kind he was. He was genuinely one of the sweetest people I've ever met," Abby Gricius said.
