4-10 - Erik Van Leer, Evanston boys gymnastics, 54.900 all-around. 9.500 floor, 8.700 horse, 9.300 rings, 9.500 vault, 9.300 bars, 8.600 bar, won every event vs. NW and GBN.
4-11 - Lucy Hibicke, Niles North softball, 2 for 3 with a 3-run homer, a double, 4 RBIs and pitched 2 innings in an 8-5 Vikings win over Niles West.

4-13 - Ryan Cunningham, Deerfield boys track and field, won the discus at VH’s Al Janulis Relays with a mark of 45.08m, took 2nd in shot in A flight with mark of 13.76m.

Evan Glebov of Highland Park boys tennis finished 1st in the singles tournament at Prospect High School last weekend.Â
Finn Pollard won 1st singles for Evanston boys tennis at the Naperville North Tennis Invite.Â
Kaitlyn Marsh, Maine West softball, 12 strikeouts in an 11-1 win over Maine East.Â
Izzy Loiben of Vernon Hills girls softball hit a homer, a triple and drove in 5 runs in a loss to Grayslake Central on April 12.Â
Jessica Hoffman of Maine South softball struck out 17 batters in a 9-3 Hawks win over York.
Ethan Bass of Glenbrook North baseball was 2 for 3 with a homer, 2 walks and 5 RBIs in a win over Highland Park on Wednesday.Â
Maine West’s Julian Dealo struck out 4 and allowed 5 hits in a complete game win over Maine South. It was the Warriors’ first win over the Hawks since 2017.Â
Noah Shapo of New Trier baseball had a 9K complete game shutout in a Trevians win over Prospect Saturday.Â
Zolboo Erdene of Glenbrook South boys volleyball totaled 8 kills, 4 digs and 2 aces in a win over New Trier.Â
David Kim of Glenbrook South boys gymnastics finished 5th in the all-around at Conant’s Ed Raymond Invite with a score of 47.850. Kim was in the top 10 in every event, including 3rd in the floor exercise. Â
Taylor Singerman of Highland Park girls track and field won the 800 at a meet at Grayslake Central in a time of 2:23.99.
Roxanne Lazanyi of Maine East girls water polo netted 7 goals, 2 assists and 5 steals in a win over Highland Park on Saturday.Â

Glenbrook North girls water polo won the Mundelein tournament and went 6-1 during the week.Â
Vernon Hills boys volleyball won 5 straight matches without dropping a set last week.Â
Evanston girls soccer won the Deep Dish Classic by defeating Naperville North 1-0. They went 3-0-1 on the week.Â
Deerfield boys track and field won Vernon Hills’ Al Janulis Relays, led by winning performances from Ryan Cunningham (discus, 45.08m), Matthew Nungle (long jump, 5.80), 4x100 4x200, sprint medley relay, distance medley relay.
Glenbrook North boys tennis won the Harlem High School Varsity Boys Tennis Invitational.Â

Niles West Athletics Announced via its X/Twitter that Girls Flag Football is coming as a varsity sport.Â
Highland Park received some great news about their Swimming & Diving program. Coach Jon Roby was named Boys Diving Coach of the Year by the Illinois Swimming & Diving Association. Coach Tim Richardson, currently an HP assistant, is being inducted into the Illinois Swimming & Diving Association, largely for his coaching at Evanston, according to this piece from the Evanstonian, Richardson taught at ETHS for 31 years.
