The CSLV Fan Vote Player of the Week was Ella Eovaldi of Evanston girls gymnastics, who won 50% of 198 votes.
BOYS WRESTLING
Vernon Hills clinched the CSL North dual team title with a 38-34 win over Niles North.
Maine South secured a 39-33 win over GBS during the week to clinch the outright CSL South dual title before going on and winning the CSL Tournament Saturday at Highland Park.
The Hawks narrowly clipped Deerfield to win the tournament title, 240-237.

BOYS BOWLING
Glenbrook North’s Josh Sachs was the individual champion at the Warren Sectional with 1,385 pins as the Spartans finished 3rd and advanced to state with 5,984 pins.
Vernon Hills took 2nd as a team with 6,001 pins and advanced to state, led by Zack Schoemaker’s 1,285 pins.
Evanston’s Anthony Swanson and Niles West’s Ryan Luecker each qualified as individuals.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS
Maine South was the top-finishing CSL school, taking 3rd at the Niles West Big Invite with a team score of 132.500.
The Hawks’ Katie Saviski took 2nd in the all-around with a score of 35.400. Evanston’s Ella Eovaldi won the beam with her score of 9.30.
Vernon Hills posted a team score of 145.80, led by Livy Tran’s all-around of 37.850 and Annika Chudy’s 37.750 in a win over Highland Park.
BOYS SWIM & DIVE
Highland Park’s Noam Kulbak won the 1M dive at the Buffalo Grove Varsity Invitational with a mark of 538..85.
Deerfield took 2nd at Hersey’s Don Anderson Classic Invitational.
The Warriors won the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:30.87. Zach Swender took 2nd in the 200 IM and was 3rd in the 100 breaststroke.
Maine East’s David Rozenbergas won the 100 breaststroke with his time of 1:02.82.
