Peri Arkin is a longtime gymnast, but only this season is she competing for the Deerfield Warrior girls gymnastics team.

Arkin, the all-around winner with a score of 36.25 at Tuesday’s meet win over District 113 rival Highland Park, joined freshman Avery Cheris (34.45 all-around) to lead the Warriors to a season-high team score of 134.25 in a win over Highland Park.
