Who advanced to state out of New Trier Regional?
Glenbrook North, won regional by 174 pins, knocking down 6196. The Spartans were paced by Josh Sachs in 2nd place overall with 1,306 pins. Nick Sachs totaled 1,284.Â
Evanston placed 3rd and moved on as a team, led by 1,264 by Kaelexx Oats and 1,260 by Anthony Swanson

Vernon Hills, 4th as a team with 5,802 pins.Â
Joey Wascow led the Cougars with 1,302 pins.
GIRLS BOWLING
Vernon Hills’ Jamie Gould bowled a 289 game vs. Evanston, but Evanston pulled out the victory 2,590-2,422
CHEER
Niles North won the Co-Ed Competitive Cheer title at GBS last weekend. Check out some pictures from District 219.

Several meaningful CSL duals that were scheduled for Friday were pushed back to Tuesday due to weather, with conference title implications very much at play.Â
Saturday will be the CSL Conference Tournament for both the boys and girls at Highland Park High School.Â

North’s Giselle Slagg won the all-around with a 32.650.
Slagg won the beam (8.45) and floor (8.70).Â
West’s Matilda Yunan won the vault (8.35). West’s Sydney Lee, who was 2nd in the all-around (30.650), earned top honors in the bars (7.75).Â
Highland Park defeated Maine East 123.000 to 100.400. Maddyn Cohen won the all-around with a 32.400. She won all 4 events.Â
Glenbrook North beat Deerfield 140.800 to 124.300.Â
All-around winner was Izzy Gott with a 35.150.Â
New Trier defeated Evanston 141.75-132.70.Â
Evanston’s Ella Eovaldi was the all-around winner wit a 36.250.Â
BOYS SWIM & DIVE
New Trier finished with 178 points, just a few from 1st-place Hinsdale Central’s 182 at the Trevian Relays.

New Trier class of 2019 graduate Chuck Sweat hit a game-winning shot for Carleton College men’s basketball.
New Trier’s Noah Osher reached 1,000 career points for Middlebury College.
Glenbrook South graduate Kurt Anderson was let go as offensive line coach for Northwestern University football. His coaching career has included stints at Arkansas, Buffalo Bills (NFL), Eastern Michigan, Michigan and Indiana State.
