Big second quarter powers Hawks past Titans.
Maine South’s improvement from when I first saw them in a road loss to Evanston to Tuesday’s 61-41 sectional semifinal win over Glenbrook South is remarkable. Coach Jeff Hamann was clear with me early on after that Evanston game that he had very high expectations for the team, and I can certainly see why, having now seen the Hawk play 4 times either in-person or on streams.
Ava Blagojevich put on a remarkable shooting display, hitting four of her 5 3-pointers in the second quarter.
